Bowen River Coal Pty Ltd – Cows Coal Project
Project summary
Bowen River Coal Pty Ltd (BRC) has lodged an application for a new environmental authority under Chapter 5 of the Environmental Protection Act 1994 in relation to mining lease application (MLA) 10345 for the purpose of an open-cut coal mine operation.
The following activities have been applied for:
- chemical storage
- extraction
- screening
- crushing
- sewage treatment plant.

Project location
Cows Coal Project is situated 8 km south of Collinsville in Central Queensland.
