Koala conservation

  • The KoalaCollab Conference Series is a series of online events to share knowledge and research to deliver conservation outcomes for koalas in Queensland.

  • The Queensland Government appointed the Koala Advisory Council to work collaboratively in developing the draft South East Queensland Koala Conservation Strategy 2019-2024.

  • The department conducted koala surveys in the eastern South East Queensland local government areas of Moreton Bay, Noosa, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Redland, Logan, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
