Administration of the Environmental Protection Act 1994

The Environmental Protection Act 1994 (the EP Act) provides for the protection of Queensland’s environment by managing development in a way that maintains the ecological processes on which life depends.

Report on the Administration of the Nature Conservation Act 1992

The Nature Conservation Act 1992 (NC Act) provides a legislative basis for the conservation of nature. During 2015–16, the NC Act was jointly administered by the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection, the Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing and the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
